Chris Barrows of The Pink Lincolns

Pink Lincolns are a band formed in Tampa FL in 1986 by vocalist Chris Barrows and guitarist Dorsey Martin. Although frequently lumped into the pop punk category, many fans identify them as hardcore, which given Chris Barrows stage antics, insanely rowdy shows and almost famously raucous crowds over the years, the hardcore label definitely seems appropriate.
The Pink Lincolns thrived throughout the late 80′s and well into the late 90′s movement, appearing on over 20 compilations and split releases on labels fromLookout! Records to Choking Hazard, and seemingly everywhere in between.
The bands last studio recording was titled No lo Siento released on Hazzard Records (not to be confused with Choking Hazard) in 2005.

Jailhouse Records picked up Pink Lincolns in late mid 2008 and has since re-released, and re-mastered their first two full lengths “Back From The Pink Room” and “Suck And Bloat” on both vinyl and cd format.
